Trust Account Information

Property Managers are required to maintain a trust account.  Brokers may elect to use a trust account, if they are not practicing property management.  Licensees may maintain more than one trust account, but must notify the board of each and every account by name and number.  If you are a broker or a property manager and you maintain a trust account, understanding the trust accounting rules is important.  This section will be devoted to helping licensees become more familiar with trust accounting rules and statutes.  Also, it will be updated on a regular basis to focus on issues being found in audits so licensees can bring their trust accounts in compliance.
