Education Conference

REGISTRATION:

Continuing with our committment to education, the Building Codes Program will be hosting the Annual Building Codes Education Conference in 2022.  The 2022 conference is scheduled for March 28 - April 1, 2022 at the Delta Marriott Colonial Hotel in Helena, MT; and we plan to hold the conference in-person.  Continue to check back for updates to see courses offered and information on how to register.
  • Materials for the 2021 conference have been removed.
  • Certificates/CE:  Certificates have been sent to all attendees.  If you did not attend the entire presentation then no certificate was issued.  ICC has reported all AIA credits for those who provided an AIA number at registration. Fire licensees attending the 2018 Fire Protection Systems course will receive a certificate from ICC and a certificate from the building codes program (the building code certificate will show 8 hours of fire licensure CE).

  • Courses presented by ICC instructors will report your AIA credits for you if you provide your AIA number when registering.  All other AIA credits must be self-reported. The certificates issued for most of the courses offered will qualify for State Board of Architects licensing CE.

The UPC course provided by IAPMO provides education credit for building officials and inspectors and qualifies as continuing education credits for the State of Montana Board of Plumbers (8 hours per day).

The NCAT energy courses provide education credit for building officials and inspectors and qualify as continuing education credits for the State of Montana Board of Architects. These courses each grant 4 hours of CE

  • The 2021 conference has been held and no further courses are being offered this year.  We plan to hold the 2022 conference in person on March 28 - April 1, 2022.
  • Due to courses being held virtually in 2021 there was no Vendor Expo; we plan to hold these events in person in 2022 on March 28 - April 1, 2022.  Please contact us if you are interested in renting an expo booth in 2022.
